FAQs

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand it may be necessary to cancel your holiday due to illness, accident or change of circumstances. Our scale of cancellation charges can be found in our terms and conditions.

What are the payment options for making a booking?

We accept Credit Card, PayPal or Euros Bank Transfer (credit card option is being implemented soon)

What if I’m not satisfied with my accommodation?

We offer a 100% No Quibble Money Back guarantee but only applies to standard of cleaning or maintenance upon entering your accommodation. It does not cover things out of our control, for example, noise disturbance from neighbours or Amsterdam’s streets! After all, you are staying in the center of a capital city open 24/7. Please refer to our terms and conditions for full details.

Are we able to check-in to our accommodation immediately upon arrival?

Check-in is usually 1pm, but if there are no previous guests checking out on the day of your arrival, it’s possible to enter the accommodation earlier. Otherwise, the driver will bring you to Stephi Bookings office where you can securely leave your luggage until your accommodation is ready.

How to do we get keys for our accommodation?

Upon arrival at your accommodation, there will be a member of the Romantic Amsterdam team to ‘Meet & Greet’ you both and go through the Check-In procedure. They will provide you with a key, give you the Virtual Tour and answer any questions you might have.

The museum ticket included with the package, can we choose which museum to visit?

We offer a choice of 4 museums to choose from: Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh, Hermitage and Stedelijk. Let us know in advance which museum you prefer and we will have your tickets ready for your arrival at your accommodation.

We want to explore Amsterdam by bicycle, but do you provide safety helmets?

No. The wearing of helmets is not mandatory and it’s actually one of the safest cities in the world for cycling.  Amsterdam has its own network of dedicated bicycle lanes. Our advice is to respect the traffic rules and you’ll have no problems; stop on a red light, give way to trams and road traffic from the left.
